Timothy Knapp, Senior Pastor
Tim brings more than 20 years of pastoral experience to Mount Calvary. He holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has pursued advanced studies in Marriage and Family therapy, Biblical conflict resolution and church planting.
Tim has served as pastor and church planter at Lutheran churches in Connecticut and Massachusetts. He serves the larger church on the New England District Board of Directors of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and as a consultant to conflicted congregations. Tim's ministry passions include proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through church planting in the greater Boston area, Bible teaching and Biblical peacemaking.
Gerod Bass, Minister of Youth and Worship
Gerod comes to the Mt. Calvary family from the west coast where he earned his B.A. of Director of Christian Education at Concordia University, Portland Oregon. Gerod has served 3 other Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregations in Washington, Oregon and California in the areas of Youth, Contemporary Worship and Parish Education.
Gerod is passionate about leading worshippers into God’s awesome presence and lives to make the joyful relationship with Christ a reality for every teenager he has the pleasure of meeting. He believes that experiential learning and solid relationships are the keys of successful ministry and he strives to have a servant heart in all he does.
Karen Saaristo, Director of Family Life and Education Ministries
Karen received a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University. Christ has molded her passions to pursue such interests as marriage enrichment, parenting, small group ministry and working with children in various capacities as well as helping families with their spiritual walk with the Lord. Karen believes strongly in incorporating the Bible and relationship building with Christ into all her psychology work and has been blessed with personally witnessing the healing power of God's grace in people's lives in a surprising number of ways.
Irina Sachneva, Minister of Music
Wendy Smutok, Preschool Director
Wendy began teaching at Mount Calvary Preschool in 1996. She became the Assistant Director in 1999 and full time Director in 2000. Wendy has a Bachelor of Science Degree and is Director Certified by the Massachusetts Office of Child Care Services. She, as well as her staff, attend continuing education classes and workshops to acquire current information in the field of Early Childhood Education

Tess Yates, Parish Administrator
Tess has also recently joined the Mount Calvary team. She has recently moved into the area from Atlanta, GA where she served her congregation there for over three and half years as the Director of Operations.
Sally Burch, Parish Assistant
Sally is a life-long member of Mt. Calvary and has recently joined the Church Staff. She is married to Bob and has a wonderful daughter. Sally is excited to be a part of the future of ministy at Mt. Calvary and loves Christ with all her heart.
Bob & Jane Darling, Custodians
Bob and Jane have served as custodians of Mt. Calvary for over fifteen years. Besides the upkeep and maintenance of the church complex and grounds, Bob and Jane work closely with the Church Trustees to coordinate the routine maintenance required of the facilities.
Don Hardy, Bookkeeper
Don has recently joined the administrative staff of Mount Calvary as the part-time bookkeeper. Don is also an elder at Mt. Calvary.
