Music Ministry Teams
Whether you love to sing, play drums, blow a trumpet or ring a
handbell, Mt. Calvary Music Ministry has many different teams for you to
use your musical gifts for God's glory!
Adult Worship Team
Our adult worship team leads us into God's presence with several vocalists and instrumentalists each week. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm in preparation for upcoming Sunday worship, special seasonal music, coffee house gigs, and other worship venus.
"Joyful Praise" Senior Choir
Mt. Calvary's adult SATB choir offers a variety of styles of anthems and serves as the core group for large anthems, combining all our choirs for special or seasonal worship. Rehearsals are on Wedesday evening from 7:30-9:00pm.
"Jubilation" Kids Choir
Wanted: Kids to sing, shout, clap and stomp their praise to Jesus Christ! The Jubilation Choir does this once or twice a month during 10:45 worship, and seasonal evening worship, and in combination with the adult choir and teens. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:30am
Instrumental and Vocal Ensembles
Vocal quartets, instrumental and vocal ensembles as well as soloists are invited to share their musical gifts during worship. Rehearsal times are flexible. Our Sunday worship includes electric, acoustic and bass guitars, percussion, flutes, piano, organ, synth, trombones, trumpets and tympani. Organ, brass and tympani rehearse together Sunday mornings, and occasional Wednesday evenings. The others rehearse weekly as part of the worship team on Wednesday evenings.

Handbell Choir
The handbell choir is the perfect group for the novice musician. User-friendly note reading methods make it easy to produce a joyful noise unto the Lord. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. To join the handbell choir contact Gary Peterson at gspeterson@comcast.net
