Inside Out Youth Ministry
Philosophy and Core Values
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2
Purpose Statement
The purpose of Inside Out youth ministry is to provide opportunities for young people to experience and be transformed by the love and grace of Christ.
Core Values
We value our young people and see them as the Church of today
Our youth are not just the church of tomorrow or the church of the future, they are the church of today. They are relevant, full of energy and have a hunger to experience Christ and to share Him with their community.
We value discipleship as the key to transformation
Beginning with relationships, strengthened by teaching God’s Word, and nurtured through various fellowship opportunities, the great need for and amazing provision of the Gospel of Jesus Christ must be kept front and center. We desire not only to teach the life giving doctrines of the Gospel but also lead students to a functional understanding of what it means to integrate their faith in Christ to every aspect of their lives.
We value the importance of mission work
We understand that the mission field is not just in some foreign country, but here on our doorstep. Therefore, we strive to create mission opportunities that will intensify local ministry in this community and around the world. Our young people will understand what it means to be a missionary no matter where they are.
We value the need for Christ-centered relationships and fellowship
Relationships are a key component in the process of transformation. We provide many opportunities throughout the year for youth to get together and form these relationships so that Inside Out youth ministry is seen as a safe place where young people and their leaders rely on each other for Christian support and solid friendships.
